A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Snek is a simple arcade game where the main objective is to eat fruit, as many as you can,

while avoiding enemies and rotten fruit

Controls:

Left/Right Arrow Keys Control the snek
Up/Down Arrow KeysMenu interaction/Scrolling through hi-scores
EnterAccept selected menu option
PPause
SpaceRelease Bomb

Install instructions

Extract the contents from the .zip file then:

  • Windows:
    • Run the "SnekWindows.bat" file. Make sure you have Java 8 or greater installed.
    • [OPTIONAL] Create a shortcut to the "SnekWindows.bat" file with "icon_windows.ico" as icon.
  • Linux
    • Open the "Snek Linux" shortcut. Or...
    • Execute this command: "$ java -jar Snek.jar" on a terminal (cd'ed to the Snek folder)
